Summary/Abstract: After collapse of the Bessarabian Opera, a lyrical society active in Chișinău between 1918-1922, the newly established opera institutions in Cluj and Bucharest became centers of professional attraction for several singers, being the subject of a long period of migration of the artistic forces from Bessarabia. Undoubtedly, a tour of the lyrical theater, of the decades since the intersection of the last two centuries, will consolidate the contributions they have made to Romanian and European interpretive art, the large number of artists arriving on important stages of the world, starting from the Romanian lands. The approach and elucidation of the subject is all the more current, as many of the Romanian artists and implicitly Bessarabians of those times are often confused with their tradition and belonging to other cultures than the one of origin.
