Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the research presented in the article was the diagnosis of talent management process in the companies of the Lower Silesia Voivodship. The research was conducted among students of extramural studies at three Higher Universities in Lower Silesia. On the basis of literature analysis, the first part of the article systematized the concept of „talent”. Interpretation of the concept of „talent” by respondents was presented. Factors determining the implementation of the „talent management” program in organizations were verified. Presented are the ways of counteracting talent shortages in the opinion of respondents. The next part of the article presents the positive effects of implementing development programs in the context of the intellectual capital of the organization. Based on the research, conclusions have been formulated that can be used to improve the talent.
