Trade and Transport Relations of the Central Asia with the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The new political order in the world after the collapse of the Soviet Union led to the birth of the new state organisms. As a result of systemic changes, new centers of influence of international influences appear. One of them is the European Union, which becomes the prototype and world’s guardian of democracy. Considerations of the article will cover the region of Central Asia, in particular the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan. In order to achieve the goal, the following parts of the article will cover issues related totrade and transport infrastructure, the economic potential of the Central Asia region and its geopolitical importance will be assessed. Among the research techniques used in the article, observation was used, which concerned the study of trade relations between Asia and Europe in the context of transport links, and the study of statistical data showing these relations in an economic context.
