Summary/Abstract: Logistics in the city is one of the strongest developing directions of research onthe contemporary mobility of people. Sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMPs) are seen as comprehensive tools for shaping urban space and the flow of goods and people, including social, economic and spatial issues. In addition, their task is to balance costs and benefits ofa different nature. A large part of passengers in urban public transport is the cohort of young people, including the so-called young adults, defined as people between 18 and 25 years old. The aim of the article is to analyze the behaviour of these people in the field of urban mobility and to verify whether their priorities coincide with the assumptions of sustainable urban mobility plans. To this end, a survey was designed and conducted among Polish young adults. In the study targeted selection and the snowball method were used. The analysis of the results is based on the verification of statistical hypotheses, including gamma and tau‑Kendall’s coefficients. The results of the survey can be used to verify the market offer of public transport companies and urban mobility plans.
