Summary/Abstract: Cultural tourism develops on the basis of tangible and intangible products of human activity inherited and transmitted to future generations. These goods have economic and ethical value. The economic value concerns the commercial and profit making and the ethical connects with the use of cultural goods in accordance with ethical standards. The realization of values and ethical norms by people associated with cultural tourism creates a concept of ethical responsibility in this tourism. The article points out that tourism in general, including cultural tourism, will not develop without the use of ethical standards and the need for education in this area. The article uses the method of secondary materials analysis, in particular the literature analysis of the subject and ethical codes close to cultural tourism.
