Contemporary Controlling as an Effective Project Management Tool

Summary/Abstract: In this article, controlling issues are included as a “tool” for efficient and effective project management. The general idea of controlling and then controlling projects was described. The issue is also presented in the context of risk management, because controllingis inextricably linked with the assessment and decision making, which aspects should beanalyzed and which can be postponed at a given moment. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the fact that it is important in the current, dynamically developing economy to make accurate decisions both in the sphere of activities of generally understood controlling, but also in the appropriate risk management.
