Cost Engineering of Product Life Cycle. Case Study

Summary/Abstract: The article is a theoretical and empirical study devoted to the use of costs engineering in designing of product life cycle cost. Proposed product life cycle costs area fundamental determinant for costs made by engineers of business decisions associated with releasing the new product on the market. The first part of the article presents theoretical aspects of costs engineering in two fundamental elements: parametric estimates of product life cycle costs and value analysis of product. In the second part, an empirical study was conducted in the form of case study. The empirical study presents procedures for building a model of the cost engineering. In the course of research, the use of cost engineering model to determine the estimated product life cycle costs was presented.
