Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze the problems of barriers in the implementation of the Quality Management System PN-EN ISO 9001: 2015-10P in the sector of small and medium Polish enterprises. The study presents the results of the research on the barriers to the implementation of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 on the foundation of ISO 9001:2008 and was carried out on a sample of 60 companies from five industries in Poland. Particular attention was paid in the article to the process of risk management and the documentation of processes, as well as the level of involvement of employees in the implementation of the system.
