Summary/Abstract: Modernity, referred to by philosophers as ‘fluid modernity’, determines dynamic changes in all spheres of human functioning. The area closely related to the labor market and the life of every employee participating in, namely – a career, it is also dynamically changing. This article deals with the subject of contemporary understanding of the term‘career’, new career models in the labor market and attitudes towards careers represented by young employees starting their activity in the labor market.
