Summary/Abstract: Company social responsibility (CSR) is becoming a concept used with an increasing frequency in enterprise management. Year by year, the number of social responsibility reports is growing. A socially responsible enterprise not only includes social interests in its activity, butit also focuses on responsible management of particular resources of an enterprise and itsactivity aspects. The aim of the paper is to identify the activity, tools and actions implemented by socially responsible enterprises in human capital management on the basis of their CSRreports. The analysis of the contents of the international social reporting standards allowed for distinguishing elements which concern human capital management in a socially responsible enterprise. Then, one conducted the morphological and descriptive analysis of the reports of socially responsible companies included in the index RESPECT from the angle of the identification of activities, tools and realized policy of human capital management. The results of there search study show that in the social reporting standards, more attention is paid to other aspects of activity than human capital. The key guide lines of social reporting regarding the employer-employee relation focus mainly on observing employers’ responsibilities to employees, respecting human rights and ethic behavior. For the analyzed socially responsible companies, employees constitute human capital, whose role is highly emphasized. Human capital management is mainly investing in the development by means of trainings and sharing knowledge, taking care of safety and good working conditions as well as undertaking actions involving employers in social activity.
