Summary/Abstract: In today’s competitive market innovation, information and communication technologies (ICT) are a very important factors in the competitiveness and growth of every enterprises. Nowadays enterprises must be characterized by innovation, efficiency and flexibility activities. The success of enterprises is increasingly dependent on how the enterprises take into account the needs of users. The enterprises must find ways to define and deliver unique experiences, together with users, in order to survive. Many products and services are actually developed or at least refined, by users, at the site of implementation and use. The enterprises engage consumer users of innovations in the process of creating innovation to obtain the best performance. User-driven innovation (UDI) is based on an understanding of true user needs and a more systematic involvement of users. Without a doubt, both today and in the future, a dominant role in the user-driven innovation will play an information and communication technologies. The article presents the potential of ICT as a platform for user-driven innovation. The aim of the study is to analyze the importance of ICT in the user-driven innovation process. User-driven innovations focus on value delivered user, and developed with the significant participation require the use of modern technology in the whole enterprise innovation chain. Literature studies, as well as the cited studies indicate the main areas in which there is a link between ICT and UDI.
