Summary/Abstract: Career decision-making is a very popular concept nowadays, its popularity being directly proportional to the importance of this kind of decision. More and more adolescents and adults encounter problems in making an adequate career decision. Professionals, such as school counselors or vocational counselors, are always in need for good assessment instruments. One of the most famous ones in this respect is the Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (CDDQ), designed by Itamar Gati and Samuel Osipow (2002). In this paper we present the results of a study conducted in order to adapt the CDDQ for the Romanian population. A sample of 270 participants, adolescents with ages of 17 to 20, was used. Based on exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis a two factor model was proposed, different from the original one.
