Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The work devoted to the study and definition of the theatrical mass holiday as an essential sociocultural factor in the formation of national culture. The methodology of the research involves the use of historical and cultural and historical-logical method, socio-philosophical analysis of the problem of the structure of the national culture. Scientific novelty. The scientific innovation of the results is to define a massive theatrical holiday of a particular type of the manifestation of the cultural existence of society, in which the human representations, the principles of real life are reflected and merged, the cultural heritage of the people is fixed and further developed, which is historically determined by the process of the formation of the national culture. Conclusions. Massive theatrical holidays reflect the people's belief in ideals and indicate the level of quality of social interactions in society. That is why, just recently, after the "dignity revolution" (as well as "orange") in Ukraine, which demonstrated all the positive and negative qualities of regulated and spontaneous mass action, clearly highlighted the qualitative growth of interest in mass actions, in particular, Massive theatrical holidays. That, in turn, once again confirms their role and influence as a significant factor in the formation and formation of the national culture of the state.
