Summary/Abstract: Subject of interest is to explain the specify of local entrepreneurship from the point of view of future trends and development and how the field of finishing textiles will change in next 20 years and possible foresight of that environment. Primary factors that will take a place here will be mostly related to the process of restructuring the companies in various activities with concentration on technology and environment protection issues. Research on that area was mostly based on interviews with experts according to view of area of importance as companies modernization, environmental protection, strategy in long-time period and their ability to cooperate on international field. The main issues here are based on following trends in finishing textile sector which is the specialization of Lodz region for the period of more than two hundred years.
