Summary/Abstract: The new Civil Code brings some principal changes in the legislation of contracts negotiated between entrepreneurs and consumers. Due the fact that new European directive on consumer rights has entered into the force on 12 December 2011 and which represents the full harmonization of consumer law within European Union, it was necessary to adopt these essential changes. The main changes consist of the unification of the time period for withdrawal from off-premises contracts and distance contracts and other changes about detailed legislation concerning off-premises contracts which are favorable to consumers. However, this legislation can be improved and stipulate more details about ancillary.
