Summary/Abstract: This study aims to reflect over the main international and national legislative instruments that have marked the evolution of the “equal opportunity” concept. Analyzing the legal rules that regulate today the principle of equal opportunity between men and women, we aim to emphasize the progress recorded in this field and at the same time the existing and perpetuated shortcomings until today.
