Summary/Abstract: Awareness Photoshopping is a text about contemporary mass media practice and intentions towards unification of public and its creation and harmonization with the intentions of media intermediaries. Using a series of situations and comments, the text detects contemporary media shaping of the public. Particular attention is attributed to the activities of the greatest world power, USA, and to the ways in which the state administration and the secret services obtain desired results. The text also introduces a new syntagm into theoretical questioning of the reality. Awareness photoshopping is a syntagm which in the simplest terms depicts the methodology of influence of contemporary centers of power.
