Summary/Abstract: The article includes a definition and a description of radio gawęda (or talk radio show) in comparison to the literary gawęda, and a discussion of its various genre variants, using the examples of radio shows by Zygmunt Nowakowski, Alfred Zbyszewski, and Tadeusz Nowakowski, and the television shows by Jerzy Waldorff and Bogusław Kaczyński.
