Summary/Abstract: The process of enterprise management evolution is noticeable. It is drifting from management focused on maximizing profit towards management used to build enterprise value for its stake holder. Along with that process the business orientation has also changed.Non-financial results of operations and above all, the development of so-called “commonvalues” idea, has become more important. Such situation has brought new challenges for enterprises, among which is the challenge of building strong relationships with customers,employees, local communities, etc. that will benefit all of them.An organization which basic objective of the activity is to increase the common value serving the basic stakeholders in the longer term serves increasing the market value of the enterprise, and thus its owners. This means that the goal of the company’s activity should be to buildnot only it’s economic value, but also social value in the long run – this is the new management.The publication is the result of a research proceeding based on the literature of management sciences, participant observation as the vice-president of the management boardof GA Puławy and interviews with managers of the Warsaw Stock Exchange companies
