Evaluation Criteria of Nowadays Computer Video Cards

Summary/Abstract: The video system of a computer is discussed in the paper. The video card, which generates electric impulses for display, is in the center of the work. More detailed information about the structure of the video card and its operation speed qualities are provided in this work. The authors analyse capacities of the video card (generation, lines, memory size, bus width, etc.), which determine its efficiency, speed and cost. Recommendations for ordinary consumers on purchase of the video card are provided.
