Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to investigate the sources of creative translation as an essential means of developing the student's communication skills. Authentic materials enrich a student's speech with new lexical units, general and specialized terms, idioms, metaphors, speech patterns, etc. The methodology of the study is to apply empirical and practical methods. Scientific novelty. Changing the aspects of the educational paradigm in the direction of communication preparation determines the primary goal of the educational institution, which consists in the formation of the need for free expression of thoughts in a foreign language. The latter requires taking into account the traditional approach to the professional, communicative training of future philologists, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies for their professional practice. The relevance of the study is explained by the need to introduce authentic sources and technologies that form professional, communicative competence. Conclusions. The study is devoted to the use of modern technologies for writing creative translation during foreign language lessons. The article highlights the prospects of future technologies and the requirements for their application. Essential aspects of creative adaptation are pointed out as sources for studying new concepts, as well as means for improving the level of professional, communicative competence of future philologists.
