Criminal nature of Detective Services Act

Summary/Abstract: The authors dealt with a specific profession of private detective who, in their opinion, balances in his work on the fringes of law, risking even criminal liability. The study highlighted the ethical aspect of the detective profession through the prism of legal provisions. The authors attempted to answer the question of how the Act on Detective Services of July 6, 2001 may help to make this profession more ethical, and to what extent it will provoke pathological situations in this environment.
