Summary/Abstract: The draft law amending and supplementing Law no. 135/2010 on the Criminal Procedure Code seeks to harmonize the criminal procedural provisions with the decisions of the Constitutional Court, the European Union Directives and the Decisions of the European Court of Human Rights. Among the proposed amendments one also lists those concerning the lawyer's right to consult the case file during the criminal proceedings which, under certain conditions, may be restricted by the criminal prosecution body.
