Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to examine the differences in the level of agricultural income and its support. This study indicates that large differences in agricultural income between countries calculated according to the EAA methodology still persist but are gradually decreasing. Differences between EU-15 and EU-13 and between all countries in the amount of income without and with subsidies in the sector and per holding and hectare, as well asper one full-time agricultural worker are shown. Subsidies, which in several countries aret he main or even the only source of income in the agricultural sector, have influence onthat. In these countries, without the direct support received, the agricultural income would be negative. The Economic Accounts for Agriculture were used for the study. Research isbased on comparative type of analyses.
