Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article are the problems of the Polish minority in the Czech Republic inZaolzie. The applied analysis of the content of the Polish-language monthly “Zwrot” andPolish-language newspaper “Głos Ludu” published by Polish organizations allowed forthe classification of the issues most frequently discussed. The analysis was carried out onthe basis of publications issued in 2015 and 2016. Representatives of the surveyed media(journalists, social activists) focus on identity issues related to the shrinking communityand its consolidation. Problems affecting this minority presented in the press are relatedto intergroup relations, intra-group conflicts, financial deficits, articulated ideas andrepresentation issues.
