Summary/Abstract: The topic of the article is the occurrence of a new type of word formations with the -icha/-ycha suffix, e.g. bystrzycha, teścicha, wronicha in the Polish colloquial language . Numerous examples of such formations may be found in language on the Internet. The analysis was carried out on the basis of more than 180 derivatives representing several word-forming categories, among others expressive and augmentative names, attributive names and feminine names. The presence of a formation with this suffix in colloquial language may be the result of the influence of Polish local dialects.
