Summary/Abstract: Freud predicted the future integration of psychoanalysis and neurobiological research of the human mind. Some psychoanalysts and neuroscientists think that the time for reintegration is coming now. Neuropsychoanalyst, Mark Solms, tries to verify psychoanalytical theories – here the theory of dreams – by modern neuroscientific methods. Neuroscientist, Eric Kandel, features aims for psychoanalysis, which are unvoidable for integration into neuroscience.
