Summary/Abstract: This paper highlights the necessity of introducing a German language course for the students from the German line of studies. The main aim of this paper is to provide an error analysis based on the students’ papers from the German line of studies. The analysis results confirm the necessity of introducing a language course in the German line of studies curriculum as the analysis carried out indicates linguistic competence shortcomings morphologically, syntactically and lexically.
