Summary/Abstract: In every economically prosperous state, the society is interested in direct foreign investment within its home market. At the same time, such investment is jeopardised by the criminal activity of the so-called ‘white collars’, which at the same time poses a threat to the economic security of the state. The question what the white-collar crime is and how it should be defined arises. This form of crime is closely linked to people with high IQ, enjoying high social status. These people make perfect use of legal loopholes, and this is why it is so difficult for this type of crime to be defined and discovered
