Summary/Abstract: The present study is part of an exhaustive research on the phenomenon of bullying carried out between 2013-2017, among the few that focused on this issue in Romania, which aims to highlight the actuality and importance of the phenomenon through its prevalence and implications. Studies show that victims of bullying experience effects such as depression, loneliness, anxiety, loss of self-esteem, poor outcomes at school, and even develop suicidal thoughts, all these manifestations sometimes accompanied by physical consequences such as stomach aches, headaches, disorders of appetite and insomnia. The present research elaborates the impact of the gender variable in the spread of the co-existence of bullying, related to roles (aggressor versus victim), in schools in the city of Oradea.
