Representation of the consequences of interaction urban and rural culture in the image of the city

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to identify the results of the interaction of rural and urban cultures and their representation in the image of the city. Methodology. The study used comparative, systematic methods, analysis, and synthesis, and worked on the theory and history of culture were used. Scientific novelty of the research consists in the first analysis of the interaction of rural and urban cultures through the prism of the city's cultural studies. Considered the adaptive forms of culture, which arise under the interaction of rural and urban cultures and their representation in the visual and socio-cultural image of the city, which in the national scientific thought no one has explored. Conclusions. Summarizing the study, we can assert that migration processes in the framework of rural and urban cultures create conditions for the emergence of new elements of the image of the city. The fast pace of urbanization processes leads to the emergence of new adaptive forms of culture, because of stressful events.
