Summary/Abstract: The purpose of work. The study analyzes the formation and development of Ukrainian entertainment culture in the 20th century, characterized by the development of spectacular art and its influence on the social structure of the Ukrainian nation. The methodology of research consists in the application of comparative, general scientific methods of analysis, cultural, sociological and methodological approaches that allow to reveal the directions of spectacle art, to analyze their forms, in relation to the sociocultural essence of instruments and means of mass communication, and to provide certain changes in the spectacular culture. The scientific novelty consists in studying the spectacular culture of its attitude and development during the twentieth century. Pro forma analysis of spectacular forms from the beginning of the 20th century. in the time of independence, gives an opportunity to fully understand the general cultural process of worldview changes in spectacular culture. Conclusion. Historical and cultural excursion into the problem of the formation of domestic spectacle forms suggests that domestic spectacular forms during its formation during the years of independence adequately embodied the acquired cultural experience, adapting the general cultural process and acting to a certain extent by the generator of the new, expressing contemporary world-view changes. Domestic spectacle forms of public relations are influential instruments of social education by means of public communication, which today play an appropriate role in the history of Ukraine and help to adapt in a socio-cultural environment.
