Summary/Abstract: The study aims to highlight the doctrinal developments and the evolution of the international law in the context of the modifications from the international society within the complex process of the new states’ formation, being analysed the main doctrines and directions from the researched domain within the context of the fundamental modifications caused by the revolutions from the period 1989- 1991, followed by modifications of the state territory and the reconfiguration of the international relationships.
