Summary/Abstract: The end of the 21st century finds the world in a great economic and political turmoil. On the one hand, the highly developed countries try to extend their influence outside the territorial borders to the resource-rich areas, on the other hand the developing countries try to reach the great powers, and not least the poor countries that are in fierce struggle with poverty. An unfair world we could say and unequal in terms of power vectors. If we think that the two great world conflagrations of the last century were preceded by strong economic crises, we will come to wonder whether or not we are in a new war or on the verge of a new world war. The beginning of the 21st century brings new types of battlefield actors, new types of threats and new methods and techniques for approach of the battle actions.
