Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the key issues discussed in English-language literature about the relation of the global medical tourism - science and state (governments). The starting point was to identify determinants (the driving force) the globalization of medical tourism connected with the identification of core business processes, boosting contemporary medical and medical tourism development programs in the countries of destination  the commodification of health and commodification process of saving (improvement) human health. On the basis of selected examples illustrate the conflict between ethical business activities and save the human health side, emphasizing the existence of a race between the science of human traits commercial traffic. The introductory part, during conducted arguments and conclusions section highlights gaps in science and the lack of evidence regarding the role of medical tourism in the global economy, as well as in various fields, particularly the lack of information about the commercial sector. The central conclusions are: the need to recognize research on medical tourism as a priority project and to create the database.
