Summary/Abstract: Defensive education influences the shape of future civic attitudes as well as defense potential, deciding about the strength and power of the state. The content of the article concerns defensive education of school youth and students in Great Britain. The aim of the article is to present selected forms and areas of defense education of school youth and students, and to indicate at the same time some similarities and differences. In Great Britain, defensive education is seen as an important educational and training process for school youth. In addition, it plays a special role in shaping young people’s patriotic and civic attitudes.
