Summary/Abstract: The relation between free press and religion of others appears to be complicated. There are two opposite positions in this matter : on the one hand, journalists claim an unlimited expression regardless of others religious beliefs and on the other hand, there is the idea that the free speech is not absolute and unlimited and should be exercised by taking into consideration other people's rights. The aim of this paper is to identify if there is a general framework at international level providing a clear contour between the two fundamental values or not. The European Court of Human Rights' Case Law on this issue will constitute the central element of this synthetic analysis.
