Summary/Abstract: The nuclear family unit is a social entity made up of father, mother and children. To this, however, other members should be mentioned, including parents and grandparents, without whom the family structure is devoid of filial fiber which solidifies it. Nevertheless, far from being this ferment which welds the links in the family chain by bringing its members in the name of outdated traditions inspired by the patriarchy, parental class sometimes unconsciously work to its future destabilization. It is therefore appropriate to ask oneself if the family does not carry in itself the germs of its own destruction as resulting from endogenous and exogenous essentialist practices fueled by paternal irresponsibility? In other words, do juvenile recriminations as decrypted in the novels not induce a substantial overhaul of the family institution increasingly exposed to multifarious malfunctions? To answer these questions, this study leans on textual operationalization of a diptych: the phenotext and genotext. The study shows, in two parts, the root causes feeding the family crisis, before illustrating that the novel primarily remains a meaningful and significant aesthetic creation expressing a specific worldview.
