Summary/Abstract: The study of abouré interrogation reveals that this language realizes interrogative sentences without interrogative morpheme, and interrogative sentences with an interrogative morpheme. Queries without a morpheme are total in the sense that they concern the entire process. They therefore call for an answer by “yes” or “no”. In contrast, the questions that admit a morpheme are partial. They question a constituent of the sentence. Also, the constituent questioned moves and leaves in its place either a trace or a pronoun reminder. The interrogative sentences abouré can be in a simple form or in a complex form. In the simple form, they become a maximum projection IP and in the complex form, they are a maximum projection CP, dominated by the complementer álὲ.
