Summary/Abstract: In the age of globalization, employees are required toadapt themselves to changes inthe working world. Employeeschange their working placesquite often; therefore, they have less stability in the organizations they work in.This situation might influence their general attitudes towardthe organizations and particularly their personal perceptionsabout their organizational positions. In turn, thisaffects their motivation, loyalty, health etc.The aim:To present three studies which were carried out inthree distinct periods of time regarding Israeli employees’perceptions of their organizational positions, incorporatinga new visual method developed by the author.Thepopulation included technology managers, registered hospitalnurses and educators. The common research methods(questionnaires and interviews) facilitate the examinationof visible attitudes but are less effective for those which arehidden. The visual method was based on the drawing ofa fruit tree, and suggested an indirect way of exploring theparticipants’ attitudes. Results and conclusion: The participants’ interpretationsraised a diversity of themes about their organizational positions, depending on the type of organization and theirstability in the workplace. This enabledthe gaining ofa deep level of knowledgeaboutthe employees’ attitudesin an indirect way.
