Summary/Abstract: Law no. 2/2013 on relieving the courts changes the current Criminal Procedure Code regarding the institution of resettlement and appeal, assuming some of the duties of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and assigning them to the Courts of Appeal. The article is studying the benefits and disadvantages of these changes as well as their consequences in terms of resolving the appeal call.
