Summary/Abstract: Globalization has intensified all areas of social life, facilitating links between institutions, communities, or individuals separated by large geographical distances. Globalization also influences the material law that is bound to take account of the legal norms of other states. With the exception of terrorism, all forms of organized crime have seen significant increases in Romania. In the following, the author analyzes whether the legislative measures taken by Romania are sufficient to control the great crime.
