The study of social welfare basing on GDP calculation

Summary/Abstract: The economic changes we have been facing with creates new challenges for economist as well as statistician. Global economy has changes itself, however economic activity measures are not in line with it. Author is trying to outline how current economic measures are applied nowadays and how those measures reflect changes in a society as a social welfare measure. Moreover, the article shows how the growth in GDP per capita has an impact on Gini coefficient.
