Summary/Abstract: Pull System is an integral part of the Lean Manufacturing. On the one hand this system allows to reduce inventory but on the other hand creates many problems for managers and for operators. In many cases, the choice of the proper production system takes many months. This paper presents comparison of push and pull system. Author shows the advantages and disadvantages of pull system implementation.
