Summary/Abstract: The article presents concepts of outsourcing and project management in the context of searching for the conditions of efficient and effective training process. It considers outsourcing relations from the perspective of outsourcing training projects (OTP). The OTP analysis based on shaping and enforcing contract relations enabled to identify 3 types of OTP:  elementary – lack of support and involvement of the ordering party,  developed – limited support and involvement of the ordering party,  advanced – active support and involvement of the ordering party. Each of the determinants includes a different set of tools, schedules and processes fostering the greatest business training value. As a result, new outsourcing project and training implementation should be determined by the high innovation potential of these relations. Tacit knowledge resources are an untapped source of development and building competitive advantage. Outsourcing training project constitutes an integrated solution maximizing training effects.
