STUDIOS OF MODERN DANCE IN UKRAINE IN THE END OF XX - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article is to elucidate the features of the activity of modern dance studios in Ukraine at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century. Methodology. The methodology of the research consists in the application of analysis and synthesis, a comparative method, which enabled us to conduct a scientifically objective study. Scientific Novelty. Scientific novelty consists in revealing the main problems of modern dance studios in Ukraine at the present stage. Conclusions. In Ukraine, there is an extensive network of modern dance studios, whose active creation falls on the period of independence. The emergence of contemporary dance studios in Ukraine is associated with the expansion of new styles and directions of choreography. Despite a number of problems (economic, methodical, artistic), modern dance studios in Ukraine play an essential role in the upbringing, education, education, communication, artistic enrichment of society.
