Summary/Abstract: The work of Ibn Hajar (d. 852/1448) named Nuhbatu’l-Fiker and its explanation Nuzhatu’n-Nazar have an important role in the hadîth literature and work as main sources. Explanations and further elaborations on these works shows its importance. One of those who worked on them is Kasım Ibn Qutluboğa (d. 879/1474) who is a student of Ibn Hajar and has various works in both fıqh and hadîth literature. Ibn Qutluboğa has contributed to the works of his teacher Ibn Hajar through his criticisms. In this article, the critics of Ibn Qutluboğa mentioned in his work named hâshiyatu Ibn Qutluboğa (al-Qawlu’l Mubtakar alâ Sharhi Nuhbati’l-Fiker) will be analyzed along with the views of some other scholars. It has been determined that Ibn Qutluboğa, is far from polemics and has nearly no binding objections. However, he has brought some new rulings to the hadîth literature. Also, it can be said that not every objection of Ibn Qutluboğa is correct and accurate.
