Summary/Abstract: The current study tackles teaching as a leading source of learning as part of the educational process. The research was conducted at University Politehnica of Timişoara (UPT), and it is based on an exploratory case study that consisted of an in-depth analysis of the institutional documents, archives, periodical reports and statistics available on the university web site. The study highlights the way teaching is perceived and addressed by teachers, as a means to both educate the educable and ensure the quality of the educational process.
