Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on Effective Self-Disclosure within the Masculine Romantic Discourse at the stage ‘Pragmatics of Romantic Relationship’. Self-Disclosure is implemented by the variable Masculine Communicative Moves (Ideal Relation, Ideal Partner, Personal Future Plans, Momentous Event), utilised within pragmatic communication models. The successful pragmatic communication model is described. The strategic ways, which are assumed as what should be said (the semantics), and how (the discourse features and verbal means) are characterised. The research demonstrates the potential of the complex approach to the study of interpersonal communicative effectiveness, considering interdependent variables such as objective and subjective integrative features.
