Memorial parks of military style in cultural history recreational and ideological context (an example of Kyiv)

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the research. The article deals with the question of a comprehensive study of the present state of the memorial parks of the military themes of Kyiv, which was carried out during 2011-2018, taking into account the methodology for assessing cultural-historical value and means of expressing the ideological load of memorial parks. Methodology of research. Field and analytical methods were used, namely: historical data on the formation and development of research facilities was obtained on the basis of the development of scientific sources of literature, archival materials, as well as their own route surveys of territories. The scientific novelty of the results of a comprehensive study of the current state of Kyiv's memorial parks is to determine the most valuable points from the point view of the historical and ideological component of the objects and components of the park space. Conclusions. Conceptual approaches to the adaptation of the memorial parks of the military themes of Kyiv aimed at harmonizing contemporary ideological considerations by focusing on the information and historical significance of memorial parks
